Workshop on Documentaries with gender perspective

Norma Guevara is the programmer of the International Film Festival Femmes de Creteil (France). The Festival was created in 1979 and has been a highly prestigious meeting point for directors from around the world for more than thirty years. This year, within the framework of the second edition of the Festival Mujeres en Foco, and focusing on continuing creating meeting and training points we are pleased to count with the participation and experience of Norma Guevara, who will be in charge of delivering the Workshop on Documentaries with gender perspective. This workshop will be OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, FREE OF CHARGE and delivered at:

Focused Women: producers with gender perspective

The team of “Mujeres en Foco” aims to get together directors aware of gender disputes and Human Rights as part of the second International Film Festival for gender equality. The audience will be able to discuss with the directors participating in the festival: how is the nature of the discipline displayed?, which reality and creative moment are the directors going through and what experiences can they share with the audience from their position and; why have they committed themselves to movies supporting women’s rights? This debate will lead us to reflect upon the different perspectives of the film production in Argentina an around the world nowadays.
